According to Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon: http://www.lisbon-treaty.org/wcm/the-lisbon-treaty/treaty-on-European-union-and-comments/title-6-final-provisions/137-article-50.html any country invoking this article (in accordance with its own constitutional requirements), will leave the EU at the end of the a two year period. However,, with alternative agreements not in place, could it be that an extension or revocation of this Article happens, leaving the UK in the EU?
