Role expectations and responsibilities

Join the Front End Team at Smarkets!

We are responsible for creating and delivering the best user experiences for our web and mobile users. From ideation to implementation, we work closely with the Product team and the back-end teams to create advanced and usable interfaces. Our ground breaking products offer a real challenge as we have to gracefully handle complex data, real-time events and advanced financial concepts. We care about usability, performance and attention to the small details. As a user-oriented team, we strive for quality and iterative delivery to provide the ultimate user experience. Our stack is made of React, React-Native, Next.js, Redux, TypeScript and GraphQL!

Role Requirements:

• You have 1-2 years experience in software engineering
• You have a strong passion for Front End which is demonstrated via personal projects, internships or work experience
• You enjoy calibrating with other teams to create impactful solutions
• You are experienced using React or React-Native to create websites or applications personally or professionally
• You have used at work or during University front-end frameworks or libraries to build websites or mobile apps
• You can talk comfortably about software at both a high (design) and low (algo) level
• You have a Comp Sci Bsc Degree
